alucobond fabrication

There are several factors to consider when looking for alucobond fabrication for a residential or commercial project. The fabrication process, installation, and the materials themselves can all have an impact on how long the work will last and the final product's quality. The good news is that these elements do not have to be a major source of concern.

ALUCOBOND PLUS

Architects and facade engineers have many cladding options, including aluminum composite material. ALUCOBOND, the original aluminium composite material, has been in use for over 50 years and is still a mainstay in the architectural cladding industry. Alucobond panel have been noted for their formability and ease of installation, in addition to their high durability and flatness.

The patented system of aluminum composite panels was developed in the mid 1960s and patented by 3A Composites in 1971. It is made of smooth aluminum faces bonded to polyethylene of varying thicknesses. The panels are lightweight, dimensionally stable, and have a high peel strength. They are appropriate for both indoor and outdoor use.

The ALUCOBOND PLUS is a fire retardant aluminum composite material manufactured in Benton, KY, consisting of a lightweight, smooth, and flat aluminum sheet thermo-bonded to a solid fire retardant core. The panels can be used for cladding on the outside and inside, as well as soffits, canopies, and column covers. The material is also recyclable.
